born in the 70’S in the African-American community, having reached its peak in the 80s, roller disco is back.

Thirty years later, the culture of roller dancing, is popular again around the world, fed by vintage fashion, nets social and activity-seeking fun during the pandemic.

Since 2020, the community of skaters in Portugal - mainly in Lisbon - has grown exponentially.

With it, the desire to create events dedicated to the Roller Dancing movement, including recreating the vibrancy, fun and community vibe of the Roller Disco - the landmark and cornerstone of Roller Dance culture.
